Have you ever taken the time to watch Yahweh (God) create a morning? For those that hate to get up early, it’s a chore, but try setting your alarm clock so that you are awake and can get a front row seat to this incredible morning miracle. It’s well worth it.
It comes quietly. It comes softly. But it comes filled with majesty and awe as the darkness slowly fades and brilliant colors begin to fill the sky. What an incredible moment. Every time I stop to watch the sunrise and take in this inspiring moment, my breath is taken away as I think of Yahweh and His love for me in providing one more day.
Or maybe you are more apt to get a seat at Yahweh’s sunset in the evening. A front row VIP seat to watch another miracle of the day as Yahweh once again creates a thing of beauty. It also comes quietly and softly. I can’t help but marvel at His power as I see the colors dancing across the sky as the sun begins to hide across the horizon for the night. It’s His hand at work each day from morning to evening, yet most of us miss it.
Two incredible miracles. Two awe inspiring moments. Yet we look for Him in other places and miss His morning kisses and bedtime hugs. Why do we plead with Yahweh to be with us throughout our day but miss that He’s already here? Hasn’t He promised us, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) He dwells within each one of us who have given our lives to Him. Why do we question Him?
Have you ever said to Yahweh, “I want to see You and know that You are here with me… just one sign, just one touch, something tangible.” But in your asking you have placed your own idea of what it is that you want from Yahweh and what He will look like to you. Then when you don’t get the touch that you want, you go through another day in despair that you are all alone. But you are not alone. You are looking for the lame to walk and the blind to see, yet you miss the majestic miracles of each day as God hangs a ball of fire in the sky providing you with a brand new day. That miracle alone should be enough to cause your heart to leap.
We need to stop looking for the “burning bush” around us and take a moment to recognize that the ground we walk on is Holy ground already. Yahweh is with us. He is here. Listen to His heart. Talk with Him today and learn of Him. It’s in the sweet moments of fellowship with Him that our hearts are flooded with peace for a new day. Allow His peace to wash over you.

Sunset and sunrise are some of my fondest memories. The true painter of light is our Yahweh! I will never forget a sunrise that I saw traveling west on I-40 in the pan handle of Tx. the air crisp with winter making the colors even more vivid. First blue the pink (almost bomb pop colors)but sitting just above the yet to rise sun was the cresent moon with her bowl up ward and Mars sitting in the bowl! It was awesome! Have a blessed evening and thank you for the memory
