I once had a job picking up rocks. Of course, I was only seven years old and I earned a meager penny a rock, but it was a job all the same. We were farmers back then and clearing new land, preparing an area for a garden. When I say garden, I don’t mean a small backyard plot of land for growing tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs.

Have you ever been in a dramatic production before? I remember one year playing the lead in a musical. My character was called “Dr. Newheart” and it was my job to examine the hearts of those that came into my clinic suffering from heart problems. The only cure for them was to accept Christ into their heart so that they could be made new.
Have you ever been on a long trip? One that took you days, or maybe even weeks of travel to reach your final destination? Anticipating the journey is an exciting time. You dream of all the things you will see along the way. You picture the mountains, the trees, the city skylines, and the open fields. As you begin to pack, you take the time to to ensure nothing is forgotten.
